Season your Turkey the Westside Way
This holiday, give your turkey a rub to remember! All it takes is a mixing bowl and your favorite Westside Market herbs and spices. To start, combine 2 tbsp. of your favorite variety of our Three Olives™ Olive Oil with 2 tbsp. melted butter and ½ tsp. each of sea salt and fresh ground pepper. Stir in 1 tbsp. each of rosemary, sage, thyme and marjoram, blending well. Now, take 1 tbsp. of this wonderfully aromatic mixture and rub onto the outside of your turkey, then put the remaining seasonings inside, patting the cavity throughout.
Feel free to get creative with your choice of seasonings and proportions. Try a rub that includes chopped parsley, onion powder, or whatever makes your mouth water. Enjoy – and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
